LABOUR ASPIRATIONS IN JAPAN
WORKERS' CLAIMS AND SOCIALISM. (Rec. July 27, 11.5 p.m.) New York, July 22. A dispatch from Tokio states that there is a growing and popular movement in Japan demanding more comfort for wage workers and fewer privileges for the rich. This movement is beginning to command serious attention in Government circles as well as among representative Japanese in all spheres of life. The Italian Socialist Party responded, granting such recognition.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
