There was a good attendance, especially of those interested in store sheep, lor which there was a fair demand ai firmer rates. The low lines of fat hoggets entered were sold among tho fat sheep, and their values were affected' by the absence of export torn petition, Fat shepp, on the' other hand, showed an advance in many instances, tho butchers requiring full supplies. Fat cattle tvero also firmor, and .there was some business done by export ibuvers in the lighter conditioned sorts. •There was vory little demand for store (cattle. The dairy cows were a poor lot, and pigs sold well. Prices ran: Store sheep—Two-tooth ewes to 335. « 3d.; four, six, and eight-tooth ewes, 255. to 275. j.HHind and failing mouth ewes, 12s; 3d. to 265. fid.; two-tooth wethers, 21s. to 30s. 6d.; four ami six-tooth wethers, 30s. Id. to 325. Id. Fat sheep—Extra prime wethers, to 625. Cd.; prime wethers, -His. to 50s. 3d.; medium wethers, 365. to •iss.; lighter wethers, 295. 4d. to 355. fid.; merino wethers, 235.
