Prices ranged:— Best bullocks. 0 -£22< to «£2G 2s. Gd.; medium. .£l9 10s. to £21; lighter, =£15 to .£l7: rjrimo heifers, .£ls ss. to .£l7 5s : medium. .£l3 to .£ls. Of fat sheep, 1327 were penned, mostly medium to inferior, with a few pens of L'ood sorts. Competition was keen, and iirices for cood quality advanced Is. to £s. Inferior were Blow of sale, and nrices ware barely equal to lato rates. Thev rim-.— Prime wethers, 535: to'sßs. Gd.: medium; lis. to 515.; light, to 38s. A total of 182 Inmbs was penned, the 'duality being • medium. Prices were practically on a par with late rates, best hems: from 255. to 335., and medium to 20s. . .
