With- respect' to Karori'a" protest against the decision'of the referee i'u the •match'against'the Marist team, the re. ferce 'wrote admitting that ho made h mistake,iii his decision because ho was 'not quito' certain of the rule. * Tho committee decided that the game'should b» replayed and the protest fee returned. In connection with the proposed representative match '('fourth grade) with' Auckland, the Auckland Association wrote suggesting August 23 as tho mosi suitable ilate for the game, -as by that date there was a possibility of the train services, being .normal. It was decided to .hold over consideration until .next week. .. The Brooklyn United Club wrote'asking that Frank., Thomas (centre-back) lib placed .on accident pay, ho having ha« his leg broken on .Association Park on Saturday last. ' It was. decided, to acceue to the- request, and to send u',letter o: thanks to. the Harbour Board for sending out its ambulance to remove the injureu player. . ', Tno Thistle Club wrote stating that i>. player (It. Bell) liad been injured on July 5 during the match against Porirua, and accident .insurance wa<s claimed i'oxliini. The notification not having been made within the prescribed time it-was decided to ask the secretary of the club for an explanation. It was decided to allow Marist Brothers Old Boys to play a. substitute in the A team in the semi-filial of the six-a-side tournament, and also one substitute, in the C team. ( A supporter of the game wrote suggesting that a suitable man be appointed to organise and visit tho schools; his duties to start at the beginning of April and finish at the end of July, and thai such organiser be paid .£3O a year. The general opinion of- the members wa» against having a paid official in connection witli the 1 game, and it was decided not to take any action in tho matter. The Porirua team being unable to- play -the Thistle team on the Basin Eeservo ' on Monday, it was decided to play • the Brooklyn team. Peace celebration's at Porirua on Monday is the reason for Porirua players not being able to keep the appointment. .. The offer of the Scottish Society to give a concert and dance on August 6 in aid of tho funds of the association was accepted with thanks.
