• ;—: —0 ; . PROM WELLINGTON TO AUCKLAND. ' The passengers who left by for Auckland on Friday last took four days to reach their destination. They left on Friday and put the night in at ! aimerston North; went on the nest morning, and pulled up at Tauniarunui for the nifiht. As the next day was Sunday there were no trains running, so the through passengers had ample time to study the scenic beauties of the township at the head of the Wanganui Biver. The tram pulled out of Taumarunui at (.15 a.m. on Monday, and arrived in Auckland nt 6.5 o'clock in the evening-time enough to make the passage to Sydney by steanior. ________
