STILL AT LARGE
ESCAPED PRISONER MALONEY SEEN. The police were informed test evening at about 6 o'clock that lite ' .escaped prisoner Lawrence John Maloney was seen in the vicinity of Martin Square, off Taranaki Street. SUps were immediately taken to investigate the report, but up 'till a late hour last evening the esenpeo had not been, recaptured. 'Maloney was .underpins a term or two .years' imprisonment in tho Terrace Gaol'for breaking and entering alia theft at Wellington in May last. He was removed to the Public k Hospital to iindeigo treatment,'and was to have teen returned to' prison yesterday, but whilst left un* attended he disappeared.
