HASTINGS WINTER SHOW
There were over 1400 entries for the Hastings show, these figures constituting a record for the gathering. Advice received locally states that Mr. J. Perr.ett, of.;■• Welling-ton, scored the following wins:—Working homers, 7 first prizes, i second prizes, 5 special, aid'cup for best bird iu the show. Leghorns, first ~for cockerel and third for pullet. In Modern Game, J first, 2 seconds, and the championship of 'New Zealand. In the Persian cat soction, Mrs. Bushby, of Wellington, was *ery successful, capturing 4 first prizes, 4 special, the championship of New, Zealand and tho championship of Haivke's Bay.
