The price has advanced to M 12s. 6cl. to .£6 15s. per ton at country- stations. Onions nlso are , firmer, and the quotation is now,*£lo to . .Cll per ton at country stations. Partridge peas are firmer, and Gs. Cd. to us. Oil. .per. bushel at country stations is •' iioiv being paid, while blues are worth 8-i. Cd. to !>s.'' Most of the heavy Penin- . Rula cocksfoot seed is now in merchants hands,, and,,those growers who are still holders are .asking up to Is. per lb., while merchants aro disinclined to go 1 over 10d.
