The following return" shoving the yuantities of hemp, tow, and stripper slips graded at the ports of the Dominion during tho month of June has been prepared by the Department of Agriculture-.— • The total number of bales of hemp graded was 4158, as compared with 9673 for tho corresponding month last year, a decrease of 5515 bales. For tho twelvo. months ended June 30, 1919, tho number of bales graded was-113,613, as compared with 169,700 for the previous twelvo months, a decrease of 56,057 bales.

During tho month GO2 bales of tow were dealt with as compared -with 165!) for tho same month Jast year, a decrease of 1057 bales. For tho twelve months ended June 30, 17,435 bales were graded, as compared -with 35,281 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 17,819 bales.
