Tho quality on the '•—•-whole .was indifferent, the proportion of prime and heavy sheep, being small. Butchers wero very anxious .to get supplies, in view of the ■uncertainty of the railway arrangements-, and the demand for prime heavy sheep was keen, prices advancing .about! ss. Unfinished and light did not participate to the came extent as freozing buyers operated at good ' limits.
