Nelson Brothers' meat works at Tomoana, (Hawke's Bay), and Taruheva (Gisborne). • which were recently reported sold, were, it is. stated, purchased by Mcasrß. Vestey Brothers, of tho Union Cold Storage, trading in New Zealand as W. and R. Fletcher, Ltd., with head office :n Auckland. The price payable is £600,000, represented as to £500,000 by 6 per cent, mortgages, allocated among the different properties, and as to £100,000 by 6 per cent, preference shares in the Union Cold Storage Company. Ltd. Messrs. Nelson Brothers are also interested in tho Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company to tho extent of £224,495 of . tho £225,000 ordinary Bhareß of. the company. The arrangements involved tho £10 preference shares to bo fully paid, £1- preference share for every fully paid £1 preference shares for every five £1 ordinary shares. LONDON WOOL SALES.
