RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED ON TWO WOMEN. - By' Telecranli—Prers Association. Auckland, July 1. Since the commencement of the drapery sales "shop lifting" cases have again ccmo into prominence, and some drastic conditions were to-day imposed by Mr. Wilson. S.M., when two women came before him charged with stealing a quantity of drapery from various 6hops. The Magistrate convicted the accused, and put them on probation for hvo years, with conditions that they should not be out alter six p.m. unless accompanied by some person approved t-y the probation officer, and that their associates and amusements should also be subject to the probation officers' control. They were ordered, furthe!, to make full restitution, and were warned that a breach of any one of the conditions would mean a sentence of the full term of six months' imprisonment. ■■ , .
