POVERTY BAY POULTRY SHOW
(By Telegraph—From a Correspondent.) Gisborne, June 27. The Poverty. Bay Pigeon, and Cage Bird Association's sixth annual show opened to-day, and was a great ttuceess. The entries comprised 580 poultry, 20 ducks, i2l canaries, and 7 v pigeon9. Th 6 canary classes wore the feature of the show. North Island championship* were awarded as follow: American Wliito leghorn, T. Crosby; tumbler pigrans, piiey Jones; plirtfi canliry.' James Johnston , ; i ;'-'ci)lour-fed v N6nniiK,' J.t'll. Rojjinson; crested Norwich, ,1,. A. Johnston.
