MOUNT EDEN SCHOOL CLOSED
SICKNESS ATTRIBUTED TO SEPTIC ■ TANK LEAKAGE. By TeleKrauh.-Presii Association. Auckland, Juno 21. The Mount Eden Public School, which has pro.'wbly the largest attendance in Ilio Auckland district, has been closed bv order of the Public Health Department, owing to the insanitary conditions of the school grounds, caused by leakace of the septic tank, to which cause n more than ordinary amount of sickness has been attributed. Steps aro being taken to remedy the defect promptly.
