PERMITTED IMPORTS
RESTRICTIONS REMOVED. It is notified in the .New Zealand Gazette of .this week for public information that the New Zealand Government havs been advised that—All restrictions on the importation into the United Kingdom of goods which are exported from and are the produce or manufacture of British Dominions have been removed, except in tho caso of («) gold, or articles containing gold, except when consigned direct to the Bank of England; (b) spirits other than brandy and rum; and (c) hops, For the purpose of this concession it has been decided to accept as the produce or manufacture of British Dominions goods which owo at least 75 per cent, of their total value to Dominion or colonial labour and mnterials.
