By TclecraDh— Press Association. Christchurch, .Tune 18. At Addington market there wero largo entries of fat sheep and fat cattle, and moderate entries in other departments. The market was firmer for all classes of sheep. Fat lambs made equal to ild. per lb. over all, and in some cases more. Medium and light fat ehecp were also firmer. The yarding of fat cattle was not only one of the largest, but one of the best for quality sinco last spring. It included a numhor of station lines. The sole was about on a pai with last week as far as prices were concerned. There was a decided improvement in demand for store sheep, and all classes advanced in price. There was a small and poor entry of store cattle, ■ and a largo .yarding of dairy cows was of moderate quality. Fat pigs sold well. Store sheep—Ewe hoggets, 18s. Cd. to 285.; (wo and four-tooth ewes, 235. Cd.; four and six-tooth ewes, 285.; soundmouth ewes, 17s. 2d. to 2fis. Id.; other hoggets, 15s. M. to 2Cs. lfld.; two-tooth wethers, 18s. 3d.
