AYRSHIRE CATTLE BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION
(By Telegraph-Special Reporter.) Palmersion North, June 18. The annual meeting or the Ayrshire Cattle Breeders' Association was neld tonight, Mr. C. Wowiiey (Palmerston North) presiding. The report and balance-shel, particulars of wliich have been published, vere adopted.
Officers were elected as , follow:—Patron, Mr. A. M'Farlane (Duiicdinl, reelected; president, Mr. A. C. Johnson .(Auroa),' re-elected; vice-presidents, Messrs. Cf. Parlane (Hororata), F. 11. Mills (Hawera), W. Hall (Lepperton); committee, Messrs. T. Webb, C. E. C. Webb, C, Morgan, and D. Buchanan; treasurer Mr. W. Karston; auditor, Mr. I'. M. Mills; secretary, Sir. I'. Weilseii. It was decided that ji cliarge on transfers como into vogue at the close of tho present herd book, and that the. J'eo to non-members be 55., and that, to members 2s. Gd., the vendor to pny al! transfer fees, transfers to be completed within three- months..
On the motion of Mr. Montgomery, seconded by Mr. C. Woodley, it Vr.s resolved: "That after closing the eighth herd book no animal shall be accepted for entry over one .year old. fess to be payable to members ah follow: —Mules, 6s. each; females, Is. each'.
