SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
There was an enthusiastic attendance of seafarers at Miss v. Mueller's concert on Tuesday at the Sailors' friend Society, The performers were: MeFdames Mueller and Co.\ and the Misses Trnon, Griffiths, Weston l .sl'UpnaM, V. Mueller, and 'Messrs. Oswin, O'ulverwell. Mr-s. Cox and Miss M'Doiwld were at the jn'ano. "Scandal" was (he subject of Mr. Moore's temperance chat, and pledges followed. Prizes for the competition tame from the hostess, and were keenly fought for and won by "ICai-ora" and others. Mr. Moore would be glad to he«r from a team willing to play a ship's team at "soccer." ~
