.Representatives from the Nnry League Committee visited Mount Cook Girls'' School on Tuesday to present a New Zealand Ensign to which the school is entitled tinder, the scihemo inaugurated for the gift of a flag to every school enrolling 100 or more members of the league. The visitors were delighted with the reception accorded by teachers and pupils, and expressed their pleasure at the bright appearance of the scholars end the splendid.discipline. Miss Piggford, the principal, was heartily congratulated on the support given to the work, nearly every girl in tho sanior standards having become a member. Tho hon. secretary gave an address on the nims of the Navy League, and.this was listened to with Kre.it attention. Heveral other schools in the Wellington district are now entitled-, to a flag, nnd it is hoped that visits will be made shortly for presentation to be made.
