THE BUSY BURGLAR

Some-time on" Monday night nntered the business premises of Messrs. Hill Bros., grocers, in Cuba Street. They apparently gained admission by a baicfc window* iu the Having explored the storeroom, which is on the first floor, they went downstairs and arnveu at the door that leads'into the shop. They smashed the panels of the door, and having searched the shop also, they apparently retraced their steps and wont out again by the window. A member of the firm last evening informed a Dominion representative that the burglars hnd not succeeded in finding any money. Tbe money was not kept in tha shop. So far as he could see, the nocturnal visitors had decamped without securing any reward for their paiiiß. Tho stock did not. 6eem to have oSen appreciably disturbed.
