NOT ASSOCIATED BY HON. A. M. MYERS. By Telegraph—Press Association Dunedin, June 17. Regarding the telegram from PalmerBton North attributing,' the statement to the Hon. A. M. Myers that "the Labour Party were urging on Bolshevism," the Hon. J. T. Paul, president of the Labour Parly, telegraphed to Mr. Myers regarding the matter. In reply, Bit. Myers slated:'"l informed a pressman that I had made a statement in Auckland, regarding the ■ heavy financial obligations of tho Dominion, and, having regard to the fact that in many countries, including New Zealand, an effort was being made to introduce Bolshevism, it was of the uttaost importance that an election should take placo as soon as possible, to givo tho electors an opportunity for expressing their views, so that a stable Government could he secured to ena'blo the Dominion to play a worthy part m furthering the best interests of tho community. I did not associate the Labour Pally in connection with su'ih statement."
