TRAVELLING KINEMAS
To further its campaign for economy and co-operation among farmers, the British Agricultural Organisation Society has called in the help of the- kinenui 111 the shape of a travelling lorry, which will give exhibitions in the main streets of villages. An exhibition was given recently in the Strand, when co-operative work' at the Bournevillo Allotments was illustrated. Messrs. 1 Cadbnry's employees were shown planting potatoes, gathering onions, and transforming a field into allotments. Major Belcher, the cluef executive officer of the society, is,„ writing a number of scenarios illustrating the various duties of farm life, designed to instruct farmers in the best methods of working their holdings. The advantages of cooperation form an important part of tho propaganda. By. means of theso films farmers with a surplus of milk will bo urged to take their available supplies to co-operative oheescrics which the socicty aro setting up in Various parts of the t0 Daylight Kineuiatngraph, Ltd who are Tunning -the scheme, hope that the daylight icineina will be used heducation authorities. Already a number of orders and inquiries have been received, and they anticipate that bpforo long history and geography lessons illustrated bv the kineiua will be held in tho playgrounds of village schools.
