POST AND TELEGRAPH BOARD OF APPEAL
\Section 15 of the Post ami Telegraph Department Act,'l9lß, provides for the establishment of a Post' and Telegraph Board of Appeal. The Board of Appeal is to hear, and determine all appeals against the classification and salary of officers shown in the Classification List, dated May J}0,"1919. Appeals must reach the'secretary within thirty days from the dato thereof. The board ds to consist of two persons appointed by the Gov-ernor-General, one officer of the postal Branch to be elected by the officers of that branch, and one officer of tho talegraph branch to be elected ; by the officers of that branch. Nominations for the election of'members closed with the /returning officer on June 4. Messrs. C. (?. Camp, Wellington, and V. S. Harris, Palmerston North, have been nominated as the postal representative. Messrs. H. I. Bennett, Nelson; and S. A. Ogilvie, . Hamilton, have'been nominated as (the telejraph representative. The election is how in progress, and the result will be known on June 27.
