LAND SALE AT PALMERSTON
By Telceranh— Press Association. Palmerston North, June 11. An auction sale of the Hannah Estate was conducted by Messrs. Abraham and Williams to-day. About' 1100 fanners were present, and there was spirited bidding. Every section was sold, nnd high prices were realised, the total being •£159,032. The. Baukawa -Estate, of 701 acres, averaged «CSB 16s. per acre, , the highest price being ,£Bl per acre. Tho Taravua Estate, of 768 acres, averaged •Ml 15s. per aero, the highest price being •Gl3 ss. per acre. Cliffside, of 1011 acres, averaged .£l9 18s. per acre, the highest price being ,£OO per acre. Siberia, 227S acres, averaged £'U Cs. 6il. per acre, the highest price being .£7O per acre. The purchasers were mainly from oHier districts. - • ,
