NO COMPETITION FOR PLANS. ' Mr. George Frost (chairman) preeid'ed at a special meeting of the Wellington Technical Education Board yesterday morning, when the following determinations were arrived at:— 1. That, followiug upon, an interview with the committee of the Architects' Institute, Wellington branch, in reference to the question of competitive designs for tho new building, the board 'be requested to rescind the resolution passed on May 27, 1319, to the effect "that a competition he held to decide the question of an architect for l'ie building of tlie new college. ,, 2. That the Building Committee bo authorised to appoint an architect, per medium of an advertisement to be- inserted in'the Press, requesting applications from architects resident in the City of Wellington, who are prepared to make working drawings'.mid specifications, and to supervise the erection of the new building. ' '
