GOVERNMENT PURCHASES. The Minister in Charge of the Lands for Settlement Department (the Hon. D. H. He was also submitting for tho consideration of Cabinet two properties comprising 600 acres of good dairying land near Palmer6ton North, and 3000 acres of pastoral and agricultural land in four blocks in.South Canterbury.
