TRIBUTE TO HIS MEMOUY. Yesterday was tho thirteenth anniversary of the death of the Hight Hon. It. J. Seddon. Mr. Seddon died at sea on his way from Australia on June 10, ISOG. The anniversary was . marked in Web: linpton by the placing of. several wreaths on the Seddon,statue in the grounds of the Parliamentary Buildings. A number of people interested, in the anniversary gathered at tho statuo at nine o'clock yesterday morning. Tho family of the lato Mr. Seddon was represented by Mr. and Mrs. Dyer, Miss Dyer, Colonel Morice,. Mrs, Morice, Miss. Morice, and Mr. and Mrs. Knox Gilmer. Tho Hon. AY. D. S. Mac Donald, actingleader of the Liberal Party, was present, and the gathering included some prominent supporters of the Liberal Party. A large laurel wreath wa splaccd in position by Mr. Mac Donald. Tho wreath bore the following inscription: "To perpetuate tlia memory of. the late Eight Hon. R. J. Seddon, P.C., LL.B., Imperialist and Statesman. A token from young New Zealanders. June 10, 1919."
