UNSETTLED WEATHER
After a mild morning, a stiff westerly wind got up yesterday, mid during the day developed into half a gale. There was more than a suspicion of rain in the air. Present indications ore for high and squally nor'-west to< couth-east winds, cloudy and- unsettled weather, with a general rainfall to follow generally, swollen rivers on the West Coast, and snow in the southern highlands.
