CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN

Sir—Your correspondent in this morning's paper signing himself "Indignant" is to be congratulated. I only wish we hail a few more like hiin. on our juries anil 'benches. We would then 6oon stamp out this foul, crime of "men" tampering with little children. Mj r mollicrheart aches for the poor little victim and its parents. When the brutes get off with such light sentences, can wo wonder that parents feci liko taking the law into their own hands? It's a disgrace to us women, who have had the vote so long, that we have not ,miidc it a capital punishment. Let every right-thinking man and woman see that it is at the next election.—l am, etc., A MOTHER. May ii.
