Commodore Aemilins Jarvis, president of the Navy League of Canada, recently left foil England, carrying with him a cheque for ,£200,000 which was subscribed during the recent sailors' week campaign held throughout Canada for tho relief of dependants of merchant seamen who perished during the war and of maimed and disabled sailors of tho Empire.
