"Oil! Oil! DELPniNE!" Tho sparkling musicol comedy, "Oil! Oh! Delphine!" was presented again in tlio Grand Opera Houso last night by tho Royal Comic Opera Company, and another very largo audicnco showed its entire approval. The plot of this play is full of amusing situations, which tlio comedians of the company are ablo to develop fully. The music is exceptionally bright and tuneful of its cllass, and Miss Gladys Moncrieft', whoso playing as usual is thoroughly affective, is heard to advantage. Miss Olive Godwin is also lmppi'ly placed. The burden of the comedy work is borno lightly by Mr. Phil Smith, who is seconded ably by Miss Florence Young. Mr, Reginald Roberts, as the artist in search of tho ideal left shoulder, is another successful performer. The dressing and mounting of tho play are particularly good.

"KATINKA."'

The production of tho delightful opera "Katinka" on Friday night next is being looked forward to with interest by playgoers. "Katinka," after it left Now Zealand last year, attracted record audiences for upwards of 15 weeks in Melbourne and 14 weeks in Sydney, but in each case it had to be withdrawn while it was still being played to packed houses simply to mako room for other attractions. Sinco it was first staged here the J. C. Williamson, Ltd., management lias, it is stated, expended a very largo sum of money on new and magnificent scenery, and tho cast has been considerably strengthened. Only four representations of "Katinka" can be given as the seasoli will bo brought to a close on Wednesday and Thursday next, when "The Pink Lady" will ho revived.

KING'S THEATRE. Tom Moore, tho popular Goldwyn star, may be Been at the King's Theatre in his latest picture, "Thirty a Week." Tho story impels interest at the very start and holds it .continuously until tho conclusion of the play. Tho e'limax conies as a distinct surprise. Supporting Tom Moore is a superior company, including Now York's famous society beauty, Miss Tallulah Bankhard, and many othor film favourites. The supports are in keeping with tho star- picture. Miss Anno Sullivan is invariably recalled for her finished rendering of three vocal numbers. Tho music at tho King's is always a treat. A full orchestral matinee is advertised for this afternoon. EMPRESS THEATRE. "A Gamo With Fate," Vitagrap'h's latest releaso screening this week at tho Empress Theatre, is a picture which will ptizzle the most astute. Harry Morey and Betty Blytlic are featured in tho leading -roles. The solution of the murder mystery and tlio happy ending to tho play greatly delight tho audience. Strong supports are also shown. An added attraction is tho singing of Mr. C. ljlel.vin at the night sessions. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. The 'Goldwyn feature pilay, "Back to the Woods," is one of llio best dramas seen tit Everybody's Theatre for a long time, and is attracting full houses at ail sessions. Mabel Normand is starred in this picture, and slw is given plenty of opportunity for displaying her remarkable talent. The ninth episode of tho exciting serioll 1 , "Tho House of Hate," is included on this programme.
