SPIRITUALISTS' ASSOCIATION
At tho annual meeting of the Wellington Spiritualists' Association, the iollowiiio- were elected officers for (he year:— President, Mr. W. H. Stewart; vicepresident, Mrs. C. Morris; secretary, Mr. F Lea; treasurer, Mr. T. M'Nicol; librarian, Mr. Vine; assistant librarian, Mr B. Edwards; committee, Messrs. Moiiat, Vine, and Edwards, The retiring president (Mr. P. B. Russell) -was presented with an illuminated address as a mark of esteem and appreciation of his services as president during the past four years. ~,-,. -n A public meeting was held in the Paramount Theatre last evening. There was a bi" attendance, which was presided ' over by Mr. W. H. Stewart, president of the Wellington Association of Spiritualist-* Short addresses were delivered by the chairman, by Mr. C. Barham Morris, M.P.S., M.M.S. • (president of the National Association), and by Miss Ada Steniug. The principal speaker was Mr. John Page, whose. subject ,was "Where thb Millions That Are Dead Now Dwell." Mr. Pago urged tho claims of spiritualism to bo considered eebntific, and ho then outlined the spiritualist view of the life after death. Mr. Frances Percra gavo "spirit messages," and at the close Mrs. Harris Koberts pronounced a bencdiotion. An orchestra, under the leadership of Mr. J. Parker, gave musical selections, and accompanied the singing of a number of hymns.
