GENERAL QUIETENING. DOWN. (Rec. April U, 8.30 p.m.) Cairo, April 11. The total casualties .during tho riots were nine killed and forty-six wounded. A procession of several thousands attended the funerals, otherwise the city was quiet. Conditions are also quietening throughout the Delta, where several hundred persons were arrested.—Aus.N.Z.
