TRANS-ATLANTIC FLIGHT
BRITISH BIPLANE BEACHES ST. JOHNS. (Rec. April 13, 5.5 p.m.) Now York, April 11. The New York "Times" correspondent at St. Johns, Newfoundland, states that a Martinsyde biplane, with P. P. Baynham as pilot and Captain C, W. Morgan as navigator, lias arrived from Liverpool on board the steamer Sachem—Aus.-iYZ. Cable Asm.
TEST FLIGHT. BT HAWKER. (Reo. April 13, 11.5 p.m.) Montreal, April 11. Hawker made a forty-minute test flight over the land. His machine behaved perfectly .-Ans.-N.Z. Cable Asm. PROPOSED AERIAL SERVICE IN AUSTRALIA.
Melbourno, April 13. The Federal Treasury has granted registration to an aerial transport company, which proposes to start a passenger and freight service between the capitals in July.—Press Assn.
