ELECTRIC POWER
NATIONALISATION ADVOCATED. London, April 3 (delayed). The Advisory Council of the Ministry of Keeonstruction advocates the nationalisation of electric power on a strictly commercial basis. It can then bo supplied cheaper than now. The council is of opinion that the nation w losing a hundred millions sterling a year through failure to take full advantage of electrical progress Tho estimate of the net cost of nationalising the existing plant does not exceed ,£11,000,000.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
