Tho Eoseneath. Tennis Club hnd a gala day ut the school court on Saturday afternoon, the occasion being the playoff of the final for the <Jraig trophy. Sixteen entries were received, and during the past fortnight some very fine games have been played. The championship finally lay between Messrs. Keith Morrison and Martin Christensen, <md after a keen game the former won I>y 6—l. Tho winner receives the club's medal end holds the trophy for one year. In the absence "of the president (Mrs. E. Low), the vicecaptain and honorary secretary were the hostesses. Tho visitors were entertained to afternoon tea.
