MAN BURNED TO DEATH. By Telegraph-Press Association. Eltham, March 19. A fatal'fire ocourred Inst night, when a one-woffled wharo, occupied by Robert Clarke, a singlo man, was burnt to tho ground. Clarko, ts'lio was asleep in tho wltaTo, \vf\9 unable to escape, ami his charred remains were recovered by tho police. DEATH FROM HEART FAILURE. Auckland, March 1!), Mr. Tom Read, of the firm of Read Bros.', jewellers, and a well-known musician dropped dead in the street after attending an Orphans' Club rehearsal. The cause of death was heart-weakness after influenza.
