MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
■THREE "TICKETS" AT WOEK,
In addition to the Labour "ticket" end the Greater Wellington Municipal Electors' Association's "ticket" (not yet completed), a third "ticket'' is being organised.))}' a. number of citizens, who are partly, at all events, opposed to both the other factions noted. The organisers of the latter "ticket" will support Councillor W. H. P. Barber for the Mayoralty, and have,, alreadv on their list the following candidates for the City Council:—Messrs'. C. B. Norwood, J. 0. Shorland, L. M'Kenzie M. Luckie, W. H. Thompson, A. E. Atkinson, E. A. Wright, AV. H. • Bennett .(sitting councillors), Thos.. Forsyth, P. Meadowcroft, J. J. Clark, S. G. Nathan, and Mrs. J. E. Gibbons. This ticket also proposes to secure a candidate from Onslow Borough.:. The Greater Wellington Municipal Electors" Association has selected the following twelve*candidate for the forthcoming City Council elections:—Messrs. A. 3. Atkinson, H. D. Bennett, W. H. Bennett, 11. E, Button, Thos. Forsyth, W. J. Gaudin, .Martin Luckie, F. Manton, F. Meadowcroft, C. B. -Norwood, J. 0. Shorland, B, A. Wright. The association, as announced last week, has also decided to support the candidature of Mr. T. S. Weston for the Mayoralty.
