A Y.M.C.A. WELCOME HOME

One of the leoding men of the Y.M.C.A., Mr. G. AV. AV. B. Hughes, arrived in Auckland this week by the Niagara, Mr. Hughes has been supervising secretary of the Y.M.C.A. war work ill England and France for .the past two vears. He will be accorded a welcome home at the meeting at the local Y.M.C.A., AViliis Street, on Sunday at 4 p.m., when ho will give tho latest news from the front. Mr. C. M. Luke will occupy the chair, and an invitation is given to all interested to bo present. Tho meeting will be open to ladies. The usual strangers' tea will follow at 5 o'clo'sk.
