EXPERIENCES OF RETURNED SOLDIEItS.
Mr L. 0. H. Tripp, chairman of the executive of the War Relief Association of Wellington, remarked at yesterdays meeting that cases were coming under the notice of the executive of soldiers returning from the to find that in their absence their wives have been misbehftviitff themselves. Mr Tripp drew attention to this paragraph in the report of the Belief Committee :— "Quite recently the committeee has received several additional requests from soldiers desiring to sever a domsstic relationship no longer possible; it has therefore been again suggested to the Hon. Minister of Justice that the Crown should make some provision tending to enable the soldier to meet the expense of divorce proceedings, when it is shown that he is no way to blame. "It is very hard on these fellows, Mr. Tripp added, "to find that their wives linv9 Ronft oft' with someone else. Wβ art meeting with quite a number of etich caees."
