Best quality owes sold well, and the market for wethers remained steady at late rates, and there was a good demand for forward; lambs. Gd.; "smaller ewes, from 19s. In. 255.; twotooth wethers, 21s. Gd'. t'o 255.; four and . six-tooth, 20s. to 275. Gd.; best rape lambs, 235. Gd. to 255. Gd.; good, 235. to 235.; medium, 17s. Gd. to 205.; poorer, 15s. to 175.; culls, from 7s. (Id.- The entry of fat lambs totalled 2851.. The general quality was good. Exporters •. took most lots. Extra prime, to 355. Gd. prime, 275. Btl. to 335.; medium, 2is. Gd. to 275.; light, 235. id. , There was a largo yarding of fat, sheep, mostly of good quality owes and wethers, almost equally .represented. Gd. to ,£l2 10s. A medium quality of veolers was entered, and there was good, competition. Two-year heifers, i .£7; two and a half-year steers, £S 25.; ! dry cow's, £C< to .£10; three-year steers, .£lO 16s. to .£ll ss. There was a large J entry of dairy cows. The quality was | mixed.
