There was a fair demand for all clasßcs, and nearly everything was disposed of at nriees ruling at other centres. We uuote:—Fat wethers, Mb. ltld. to 31s. 9d.; four and Fixtooths, 30s. 4d.; four-tooth. 295. 6d. to 3Js. 7d.; two-tooth, 21s. to .275. 7d.; fot ewes, 295. Id.; f.in. owes, 225.; two-tooth. 235.; 1 store ewes, 125.; prime fat lambs. 235.; ! store lambs, 3s. &a.; wether lambs, lis.; i culls, ss. Sd. .to Bs. 7d. : Messrs. Dalptely: and Co.. Ltd., report ! having held their weekly sale at Levin on Tuesday, when they ofFered fair yardings of sheep and cattle. The following are the principal quotations:—Fat owes, to ■275.; cull lambs, ss. 2d. to 7s. 6d.; medium lambs, 10b. <ld. to 10s. 9d.; m.s. woolly lambs, lis. id. to 12s. 3(1.; potter rams, IBs. to 205.; forward cows, to £9 -2s. 6d.; store ' cows, to £6: twenty-month heifers, r.v.b., £5 ss. to f.i 7s. 6d.; m.s. wcaners, £?. 15s. to £3 7a. 6d.; bulls, £5 to £8 10b. Messrs. Daigcty and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report havinE held their annual ewe fair at Pahiatua on Monday, when they olforcd a largo-yarding to a good attendance of buyers, Competition was keen for all lines of good Homnoy-cross ewes, the bulk of which were purchased by Manavatu buyers, but for Lincoln' ewes the demand.was slack. Prices realised were as follow:—Four and five-year ewes 205.. 225. Bd., 235., 255. 9d., and 265.; two-tooth wcthors, 2-ls. 7d. to 255. Ad.; four-tooth wethers, 28a. 6d.; woolly lambs, 15s. 4d.; black-face lambs, 10b. 4d.
