BOLT FOR LIBERTY
PRISONER SHOT BY A WARDER-. By Tclcuranli—Press Association, v Invercargill, February 14. A prisoner named Robert l'oineroy, employed on tho reclamation works, attempted to eseapo on Thursday, and was shot by a warder. The injured man was removed to the hospital, where ho was operated on, and is now doing well. The prisoner, was sentenced to fivo years' reformative treatment at luvorcargill in September last.
