SPEECHES AT TIMARU. By 'Telegraph—Press Association. > Timaru, February 14. On Tuesday evening the Hon. J. T. •Paul, M.L.C., and Mr. M'Combs. M.P., addressed a full meeting in the Lyceum Theatre, which was filled again to-night when tho speaker was Mr. lv. Semple, M.P. All were well received. The speakers appealed for sjyjport for the Labour Party, and condemned the present Government.

Mr. Wetherby, secretary of tho Empire Service League, also gavo an address hero to-night on the aims of the League.
