The Canterbury Centre of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association passed <i resolution strongly recommending to the council of the N./i.A.A.A. tho desirability of treating eacli application for reinstatement as an amateur from any athiete who. has seen, service as a member of His Majesty's Forces (military or naval) as a ''special case" under rule 2' (K); and reinstating the applicant forthwith with certain reservations.
