"IT IS A LIE"
———-e : — The publication of the report of the Bavarian Minister at Berlin in 1914, showing how Germany plotted for war and was responsible' for its outbreak, has evoked the following from "Vorwaerts" :— "We were told that the German Government did not know of the Austrian ultimatum beforehand. It is a lie! We were told that Berlin had exhorted Vienna to exercise moderation. It is a lie! Berlin, on the contrary, incited Vienna. Wilhelni declared, in a proclamation that the enemy attacked us in deep peace. That.is an .unfounded, barefaced, infamous, shameless lie, and this gang of miserable mass murderers, who, (luring the revolution, owing to the people*s generosity, have got off cheaply, are still planning Ihe re-establishment of their blood-stained rule befouled bylies. : The people chased them away with shame and disgrace; they ought to thank their God on "their knees that they got off so cheaply."
