FROM H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND

GREETINGS TO THE DIVISION. Congratulations and good wishes are expressed on behalf of the officers and men of H.SI'.S. New Zealand to the officers and men of the Zealand Division in the following letter from the officer commanding the ship, Captain L. Donaldson. The letter, which was Addressed to the High Commissioner for New Zealand, was dated November 14:— • "On behalf of the officers and men of H.M.S. New Zealand, on the occasion of the signing of the armistice, I wish to express our admiration for the officers and men of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force for the brilliant services they have rendered to the Empire during the war, which have so largely contributed to the present situation. The signing of the armistice brings peace in sight, the final crown of the joint efforts of the Allies. It may be of interest to you to know that H.M.S. New Zealand holds the record, with, I think, only two other ships, of having been present in the three naval fights in the North Sea in which, the heavy ships took pait."
