QUARANTINE STATIONS
ACCOMMODATION SUFFICIENT. The Government does not apprehend any serious trouble about the accommodation at the quarantine stations being adequate for the numbers of tncii who may have to be maintained there in the course of the next few months. Such large bodies of troops are comiri" back in the course of this time that it is conceivable that the existing accommodation in the buildings at these etatione might bo taxed in the event of whole drafts 'having to be quarantined. It is hoped, of course, that this may never be necessary, but if there should be more men sent ashore, than the buildings can accommodate the Defence Department can very quickly provide canvas accommodation. As it is the summer eeaeon, this 6ort of shelter v;ould not be unsuitable.
