No trains ran on the Outriun line today, tho rails .being 2(5 inches under water between Riverside and Gliultteld. The Postmaster «t KaitMi'gata, telegraphed at 9 a.m. that indentions pointed to the highest flood on record. In the afternoon be reported that the water was 18 inches higher than.in the 1917 flood, and was still rising. Several houses were flooded, and two bridges .and part of a third wero carried away at Oturehua, Central Otago.
