.GREAT INCREASE DURING THE WAB. - (Rec. January 26, 5.5 p.m.) London, January 23. At the outbreak of the war the Royal Flying Corps.and the Naval Air Service comprised 285 officers and 2853 of other ranks. When hostilities ceased there wero 30,000. officers, including 10,000 pilots, and 2G4.000 of other ranks, including 21,000 ilying cadets. At the outbreak of tho war there were IGG aeroplanes, 45 seaplanes, and seven airships, and at the close of the war there were 21,000 aeroplanes, 1300 seaplanes, and 103 airships.
